Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Delhi Daredevils, 19th Match

DD 174/5 (20.0 Ovs)

RCB 176/4 (18.0 Ovs)

Royal Challengers Bangalore won by 6 wkts
PLAYER OF THE MATCH
AB de Villiers

So that customary AB special at Chinnaswamy hits us. And a familiar script plays itself out at Bangalore all over again - the bowlers concede, the batsmen steal more. It's all we have for you from this heady night. I was Vineet Anantharaman helping you chew your nails off in the company of Sagar ChawlaAkshay MaanayNikhil Jadhav,Pradeep Krishnamurthy and our scorer Naga. To a couple more tomorrow, ta ta!!
AB de Villiers | MoM: It's one of those nights when you see the ball well. The last two innings I wasn't hitting it too well, but today I felt it coming off the middle, watched it nice and early, bought myself that extra split second to make decisions and that's when I need to cash in. When you do get on top of the bowler, you have to take him down. This is the best crowd in the world; I love playing here. They keep backing us every game but I must say, whenever you get into that zone that crowd is only a buzz. And most of it today was a buzz. [On the 'genius' on his bat] I didn't give myself that name, MRF did it (smiles). It's a privilege playing with these bats, it's some good stuff.

Virat Kohli | Winning skipper: I think the 30 runs tonight is much better than the 90 I got in the last game. Two points are very crucial for us at this stage. We really thought about how to go about it, and we still have a few areas. The guy (AB) in our team gives us plenty of reasons to smile. We understand situations, understand each other's games well. He started off in a great way, my job then became to stick it out, string in a 65-70 run partnership. And then the opposition know they have to protect the game, rather than going for a win. It was a pity I couldn't stay till the end, but Corey and Mandy did really well to support him. They kept taking singles with positive intent and that is great to see. But AB just keeps taking the game away and that's why there's no doubt why he's the best player in the world. [On Boult's catch] It's one of those things you see regularly in the IPL. It's good for the fans as well and when you look back you don't really feel bad getting out to a catch like that, full credit to Trent. Till the 15-over mark we were really good with the ball and with the bat even after we lost early wickets we strung in small partnerships. Plenty of positives but plenty of areas where we can improve as well. The crowd has always supported us in huge numbers; if the team believes, the crowd believes in us as well. We need the energy of the crowd and the players and we'll keep doing it for them, giving it our everything and keep pushing forward for them.
Rishabh Pant: This is how T20 games go on, I played well, but AB was the difference between the two teams. The wicket wasn't so easy, we (myself and Iyer) thought we will have a partnership. It worked well, but we didn't get a winning score. No excuses about the dew, but it was a factor. I am just trying to learn from AB and Virat, how easy they score runs. That scoop shot today was a new innovation.
Gautam Gambhir | Losing skipper: I thought AB took the game away from us, the way he batted. We were very much in the game after scoring 175. At one point getting to 150-155 looked difficult. It was a bit tacky in the first six overs. Shreyas was unbelievable, Pant was unbelievable too. Our spinners could have bowled better against AB in the first six overs. When the spinners were bowling the ball was gripping as the ball was new, the seam was new, one wicket there and it was our game. AB took on the spinners and got away with it. (On Boult's catch)It's the best catch I've ever seen. It was unbelievable because he's a left hander and he grabbed it in his right hand. It's never easy. Things are getting desperate for us and hopefully we can turn things around when we go back home. We are professional cricketers and there can't be excuses. Hopefully we can win a few and get the momentum in our favor. If you see the points table most of the teams are close to each other. So we need to reach the mid of the table first and then maybe in the top four.
23:27 local: It's been a show. It's been a carnage. And it's been the usual suspect murdering yet another attack, yet another match. Oh what would this side do without AB .. he's churned out yet another special, chasing, alone. So Delhi started well, running mixups helped them too, so did Boult's special at the boundary. But then the tornado hit, with sixes being smashed into every single pocket possible, breaking a few jaws on the way. Sheer audacity. Delhi would rue their missed powerplay when they were batting, for the wicket only kept getting truer with the dew setting in. And their bowlers missing their lengths just didn't help. Read into the interviews lined up.

Kolkata Knight Riders vs Kings XI Punjab, 18th Match

KKR 191/7 (20.0 Ovs)

KXIP 126/1 (11.1 Ovs)

Kings XI Punjab won by 9 wkts (DLS method)
PLAYER OF THE MATCH
Lokesh Rahul

It's been a mixed bag for KKR. They have won three and lost three. DK and Co. need to do some serious thinking. Lynn getting back among the runs was a positive and the bowling figures of Mavi don't suggest how well he bowled. KKR would hope Russell's injury isn't big. So that's that from the Eden Gardens run fest. It's not quite a run feast in Bengaluru. Hop tabs for the action between DD and RCB. See you there!
Rahul (Man of the Match): "I don't want to stop whatever I am doing. I am in a good space and want to win games. The approach is going to be aggressive and to take the bowlers down within my limitations with whatever I am gifted with. It's working for me. The simpler you keep it, the more clearer you will be as a batsman. I don't want to complicate my batting, just see the ball and hit the ball. I bank a lot on cricketing shots. My feet are moving and I am hitting the ball well. I got to make sure that I should make it big and stay there till the end. Me and Chris want to back our games. If Chris is going it doesn't mean I slow down. If he fancies a bowler, then I let him strike. But it hasn't been that way. We've spoken something else outside, but once we are out there, we just continue what we are doing and not thinking too much."

Ashwin: "Lot happier than the previous one (win). I thought we were under the pump with the ball. During the second time-out I pulled the boys and told them if we can keep them to 190, it will be a great favour to the batsmen. Very pleased with the way we batted. KL looked like a millon dollars and you never ask with Chris, he's gone fifty after fifty. Our bowlers got hit, so we wanted to have shorter targets for them to try and make sure they achieved that. You don't really plan with someone like Chris. We are a team that wants to embrace winning the powerplay with the ball and the bat - that's half the job completed. If we can get some points in the next week, even if we get four out 2 games - being a bit greedy, then we go into a small break. So it will be helpful for us."
Chris Gayle, Orange cap holder: I am accustomed to it (about getting the Orange cap). To be honest, I am not worried about the Orange cap. I think Rahul deserves it, he's been batting really well. I have been striking well and when you are in the zone, you try to keep the momentum going. I have been doing lot of stretches (about his fitness) and I am enjoying it. It's really good to contribute to the team. Hope to continue this form.
Dinesh Karthik, KKR captain: I think they took us on in the Powerplay and played really good shots. There seems to be a trend where we tend to miss out on the last couple of overs with the bat. It's important that we finish the innings well. We didn't execute plans and a player like Gayle will always hit you if you miss your lengths. The crowds have been great, proud to be playing in front of them and they are big fans of KKR.
Look at that confident walk back to the dressing from Gayle. He's in a good space folks and is looking hungry. 192 was a good target set by KKR, but Rahul and Gayle just smashed the bowlers to all corners to make a mockery of the total. The rain came down heavy, but the KXIP openers ensured that the side was well and truly in front. The revised target of 125 in 13 overs was swallowed easily. Gayle made 62 at a strike-rate of 163 dots, but to me Rahul's 27-ball 60 was special primarily because of the ease with which he hit the bowlers. Hardly played a rash shot. Making a serious case for an opening slot for India in T20s. Rohit plays No. 4 maybe!

Chennai Super Kings vs Rajasthan Royals, 17th Match

CSK 204/5 (20.0 Ovs)

RR 140-all out (18.3 Ovs)

Chennai Super Kings won by 64 runs
PLAYER OF THE MATCH
Shane Watson

SK have climbed to the top of the table after this massive 64-run win. That's it from our coverage of this game. I've been Sagar Chawla, and on behalf of Nikhil Jadhav, Akshay Maanay, Abhinand Raghavendran, Pradeep Krishnamurthy and our scorer Shashikant Singh, it's a goodbye!

Watson, MoM: There's no doubt I had extra motivation tonight (against his former team). Nice to put in the performance that I did tonight. Grateful for the opportunity I've had for CSK. Glad to repay them tonight. Not sure, just one of those things that happened in the first couple of overs (about the dropped catches). Don't mean to drop them, but that's the way it goes. It went my way tonight, got to make the most of it. When you feel like you're not learning, it's time to stop. I'm still working on certain aspects of the game. MS and Fleming know how to set up a really good team dynamic. Fortunate to be a part of CSK and to contribute to the win tonight. Chris (Gayle) is the greatest T20 batsman in the world. To be able to score so many T20 hundreds. That's the reason he's called the Universe Boss. He keeps bossing attacks around the world.
(2/2): As far as the wicket is concerned, I'm not sure that it was coming on nicely, especially when the ball got old. There was spongy bounce. Back of length was hard to hit. Batsmen did the job, they put on more than what was required on the board. Made the bowlers' life easy. Spinners had to vary their line and lengths along with the pace. It's a league stage, it's not like the quarters or semis, where if you lose you're out, so there's not that much pressure. For CSK whenever we played in Chennai, we used to bat first a lot of times in Chennai. Dew is a factor here. Today also there was a bit of dew later on. I saw the fielders wiping the ball and everything. Slowly what has happened is that people are getting comfortable either way. If wicket is good, not many teams will mind batting first or second.
Dhoni, CSK captain (1/2): Big game for us, we lost the last one. It's like an unknown territory for us. CSK is used to being slightly behind, before getting into the groove. This year has been different. Everyone has contributed. Have to keep the fitness levels up, most of us are over 30. It's a long-ish tournament, have to be fit. Experience really counts. No point getting injured when you're trying to stop a single or a double. The kind of players we've got, they'll always make that up. We've got a few good fielders who are very good. They are doing most of the work when it comes to the boundary fielding. Just want to keep the players fit. Change of venue - to be frank - CSK wasn't there for couple of years. I played for Pune at that point of time. The fans over here, they supported the team and stood by me. It's time to return the favour. They have the choice whether to support CSK or the other team. By the end of the seventh game, we'll see a lot more yellow in the crowd. It's Chennai Super Kings, not Pune Super Kings.
Shardul Thakur: It takes years to practice and get into rhythm, but once it happens, I want to stay in rhythm and execute better. We were involved in some high-scoring games and had some nail biting finishes in the tournament so far, so we knew what was coming. I think I executed my skills well and am hoping for more of the same in the upcoming matches.

Rahane, RR captain: Credit goes to CSK the way they played, especially Watson at the top of the order. Unfortunately, we dropped that catch. But, the way he played was incredible. If you field well and take the catches, it'll help. Our players are working hard on fielding. We need to work hard and move forward. We bowled slightly on the poor side. They bowled straighter lines and lengths. It was difficult to hit. CSK were too good tonight. It's important to believe in our ability. We just need to go out there, try to improve and be positive. His (Watson) intent was completely different. He was positive from ball one.
23:34 Local Time, 18:04 GMT, 23:34 IST: Discernable chants of "CSK CSK" from the yellow army, many of whom have travelled here from Chennai in the Whistle Podu Express. And their team put on a show for them - led by Watson's brilliant hundred. Such was his belligerence at the start, that despite a jaded finish, 200 on the board was a given. Their bowlers had enough cushion to work with and they did the job that was asked of them. The Royals clearly struggling in that bowling department. Especially in the powerplay, it looks like Rahane doesn't know where to go. Shreyas Gopal has been doing an outstanding job for them, but on pitches where the ball is not stopping and gripping, their pacers - who are well suited for bowling cutters - are disappearing. Jofra Archer couldn't be more missed right now.

Kings XI Punjab vs Sunrisers Hyderabad, 16th Match

KXIP 193/3 (20.0 Ovs)

SRH 178/4 (20.0 Ovs)

Kings XI Punjab won by 15 runs
PLAYER OF THE MATCH
Chris Gayle

Who thought. Who thought an auction reject, picked up for crumbs later, will be the first one to hit a hundred this season. But that's how it is. And that's how Chris Gayle is, reemphasizing his greatness as his form and fitness flickers. SRH, who had a shock landing at Mohali, will need to find a way to gun down, and post, big totals on the plethora of flat beds that'll await them now. More IPL coming your way tomorrow, but for now, this isPratyush Sinha taking leave, loving this new trend of teams winning whilst defending. RamakrishnanVarun Dixit,Hari SadanandanSriram and Sreenivas Varala say goodbye too. Sleep well, ta-ta!

Chris Gayle - Player of the Match: "I'm always determined. I always give it my all for whatever franchise I represent. I'm a 100 percent. Like I said, it's a new franchise. A lot of people might say that Chris has a lot to prove - he didn't get selected or wasn't picked early in the auction. I think Virender Sehwag has saved IPL by picking me. This is a brilliant start. Viru said in an interview that if Chris Gayle can win us two games, we have got our money's worth. I'd like to have another word with Viru and see what happens from thereon. Overall, happy with the win and now (time to) move on to Kolkata. It all depends on the mood and conditions are also tricky as well. Playing so many years in India, I know what the conditions are like. I am glad to get a hundred today. This is the final home game in Mohali, and I'm going to miss this wicket. I'm not really here to prove it to anyone. I've done it all before. Been there, done that. Just here to put some respect on the name. Tomorrow's my daughter's birthday, so going to spend some time with her and enjoy this win. DON'T FORGET THE NAME."
Ashwin: "I think it was a complete performance. It was one of those times when we won the toss and batted first and tried and defended a score. Did that pretty well. Would have liked to have given away 10 runs lesser for the NRR. Giving them a reasonable score to defend was something we thought we could handle at the end. It (bowling all pace in powerplay) was a good wicket. Chris batted well and took it away from them. It was more about who we are bowling against and what works the best. It was about getting through the powerplay well. Mohit vs Dhawan was a match-up, so we had to go for that. It was pleasing to see the crowd today. We have never seen that in Mohali. There are players like these to entertain, that's why they're turning up. Chris batted beautifully. Chris just punches a back of a length delivery out of the ground -- that's the difference between him and other batsmen. It's hard to replicate, and when it comes off, it's brilliant."
Williamson: "Hats off to Chris (Gayle). He was at his best. It really wasn't a free-flowing wicket. Fantastic hundred, I think they deserved the win. Haven't spoken to Dhawan yet on the injury. They bowled very well and used the big boundaries. We have to learn and move on to the next game. We want to execute a pattern in play, we weren't up to the mark tonight."
11:33pm local - So that's how SRH lose their first game this season. Was quite gutsy from Ashwin to bat first and risk another successful chase from SRH, but he ruled out dew in favour of his opponent's potential vulnerability in chasing big scores, given their bowling hasn't allowed big scores. The plan was to put in a big total, and Chris Gayle's sixth hundred got them that. From there, it was Ashwin dazzling us with his captaincy yet again. Went in all pace in the powerplay -- for the first time in the tournament -- and at 40/2, with Dhawan retired hurt, the chase succumbed. Hyderabad, as a result, struggled chasing a big score on a big ground, with even Yusuf's promotion cutting no mustard.

Rajasthan Royals vs Kolkata Knight Riders, 15th Match

RR 160/8 (20.0 Ovs)

KKR 163/3 (18.5 Ovs)

Kolkata Knight Riders won by 7 wkts
PLAYER OF THE MATCH
Nitish Rana

So KKR have broken RR's winning streak at this venue in IPL (9 games) to climb to the top of the table. Things have fallen together nicely for them in these last couple of games. We'll see if they can sustain this momentum. That's a wrap of our coverage for today. This is Sagar Chawla signing off on behalf of Srivathsa, Nikhil Jadhav, Akshay Maanay, Abhinand Raghavendran and our scorer Shashikant Singh. Goodnight!
Rana, MoM: I know that my job is to defend runs and that's what I was striving for. I bowl regularly in domestic cricket. Backed myself, and I'm lucky to be MoM in both these last two games. Big platform this, we don't get loose balls regularly. The ones we get have to be converted into boundaries. That's why I was getting frustrated that I wasn't able to put some of them away. It's there at the back of my mind (to play for India), but right now my focus is to do my best.

Karthik, KKR captain: Feels good to get two wins on the trot. Slowly things are going in a good direction. Just feel that the wrist-spinners are a little harder to pick. For the fast bowlers, it could come onto the bat. So it makes sense to go with spinners at the top. Spinners did a good job for us. The way Robin batted was fantastic. He set the tone for us. Nitish is getting used to that role where he's coming not out which is good to see. Fielding could be better, death bowling could be better. If you want me to be harsh, even fast bowlers could be better. Consistency is something we're looking at as a team. Rana is a good player. Last year he did well for MI. And now he's come to KKR. He's got a couple of rough ones, got a couple of good catches taken off him. His arm is slightly higher than Kedar Jadhav but he's done a good job for us.
Piyush Chawla: It is not easy to bowl in the powerplay. But at the moment, I am really enjoying it. As a leg-spinner, I always look to take wickets. But, when the situation demands, you have to bowl defensively. I always try to take wickets. We are fortunate enough to have 3 quality spinners and if you bowl well in tandem, you can restrict the teams under 150-160.
Ajinkya Rahane, RR captain: I thought we were 15-20 runs short. In T20 it's always not about scoring 180. In this format, fielding is a crucial part. We let ourselves down in fielding. Very disappointing. Game 1 - (the wicket had) very good bounce. Today, the ball was keeping low. But no complaints. I got a good start and it was my responsibility to carry on. We thought 175-180 would have been good on this wicket. Doesn't make too much difference (losing the toss) I believe in playing good cricket. The intensity has to be up to the mark. Our intensity was a little bit down today. It wasn't there. I wanted to keep backing my players (on an unchanged XI). T20 is all about backing your players. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. Boys are doing really well. I just wanted to stick to the same combination.

23:26 Local Time, 17:56 GMT, 23:26 IST: Really good knock there from Dinesh Karthik. He's had a rusty start to the IPL, but there were no signs of that tonight right from the minute he stepped in. KKR lost Lynn for a duck, but the freedom with which Narine and Uthappa batted in the powerplay set them on their way. At no point after the first over, did RR look like being in the game. They were probably a bit too light with their first innings score, for which the credit must go to how well the visitors' spinners bowled. Despite Narine enduring his worst IPL figures, Chawla, Kuldeep and Rana combined really well to keep the Royals down to 160, which, as we later found it, was not enough to contain a powerful Kolkata batting unit. They didn't even need Russell tonight. There could even be some concerns for Rahane when it comes to his new ball bowlers. They don't have the pace to blow out someone like, say Narine, who comes out slogging. Time for the presentations..

Preview

This April, apart from access to fresh Alphonso mangoes, there has been very little good that has come Mumbai Indians' way. Three last ball/wicket defeats later, the morale isn't as good as they would've liked. Kieron Pollard makes his own desperate request to the scribes, "If you guys have any idea to tell us how to get over the line... if it happens again, give us an idea of what to do."

With one week gone and no victories to boot, it has reached a point where he can no longer go on the chants of 'processes' and 'learning'.

But such has been the manner of the defeats that it has given Mumbai Indians some hope to cuddle with. And that hope is what keeps them going. Or as Pollard adds, "If we were down right now, we should be home."

The thing is every player who has featured in all the three games has made a handy contribution with the bat, ball or in the field at some point in the tournament. Skipper Rohit Sharma has been a sole exception in that regard. And unless he gets firing quickly, it will be difficult for him to inspire his side in this flood of close losses.

The good thing for them, however, is that they are up against Royal Challengers Bangalore, who even in their 11th season are trying to figure out what is going wrong with them. Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers have scored fifties, Quinton de Kock is in good form, so are the spinners, and the pacers have chipped in too. Yet, there are holes that are opening up time and again. Their perpetual state of underachieving seems to have become a dear comforter, a part of their travel kit, a brand of their cricket, something which (doesn't) gets them going.

It has been a contrastingly different tale for the opposite captains. Just as Rohit Sharma has seen more IPL success than anyone else, Virat Kohli has seen none.In 10 years, the trophy has teasingly evaded him. But such is the strength of their current squad that on paper they can replace seven to eight of their regulars and still have as good a XI featuring for them. There is no dearth of individual reputation, something that RCB has rarely faced - spare the horrors of their first season picks - but like always, they have come up below par as a collective unit.

It has been a busy week for the two sides. A day ahead of the game, Mumbai Indians gave their fringe players considerable time in the nets and RCB decided to take rest. Maintaining the fatigue level will be the key and to ensure that undesired results don't wear them out mentally. Both would desperately need a win on Tuesday to get going.

Interesting face-offs

AB de Villiers vs Krunal Pandya: AB has been dismissed by Krunal in all the four innings he played against him. He has managed to score 33 runs off 34 balls from Krunal.

Kohli vs McClenaghan: McClenaghan has managed to get the better of Kohli on four instances in six exchanges including last three times on the trot. Kohli managed to score only 19 runs off 29 balls from the lefr-arm seamer.

Pollard vs Chahal: Pollard has managed to score 45 runs off Chahal at a strike rate of 150 but has been dismissed by the tweaker thrice in 30 balls. Pollard has enjoyed playing against RCB scoring 450 runs - the most for him against an opponent (SR 166.67).

Approaching milestones

Virat Kohli needs 49 more runs to become the first player to score 5000 runs for a team in 20-overs cricket. He has 4951 runs from 158 innings for RCB at 37.50 (SR 131.53).

Umesh Yadav needs four more wickets to become the fifth Indian pacer to take 100 wickets in IPL. He doesn't have a good record against MI, having taken only eight wickets from 11 games.

Venue trends

MI has won four of the five head to contests between the two sides at the Wankhede since 2013.

RCB's 235/1 in 2015 is the highest total at the Wankhede in all T20 cricket.

23:20 Local Time, 17:50 GMT, 23:20 IST: Well, that fell apart pretty quickly. Didn't it? Chasing a target of 201, Delhi lost three wickets in three overs, but that didn't derail their innings. Rishabh Pant, along with Maxwell, went after the KKR bowlers and they kept the required run rate under check. They were involved in a 62-run stand. But, both of them were removed by half-trackers from Kuldeep Yadav. The Daredevils just collapsed from there. They lost their last 7 wickets for 43 runs in 35 balls. This was definitely not a track to get skittled out for 129. A poor performance from the Delhi batsmen. Earlier, it was Andre Russell and Nitish Rana who powered the hosts to an above-par score. Hang around for the presentations.

Kings XI Punjab won by 4 runs
PLAYER OF THE MATCH
Chris Gayle

Phew! What a game. It could have been a very tight finish at the Chinnaswamy had RCB batted a bit better and our hearts were certainly tested here in Mohali where MS Dhoni - battling a back injury - recorded his highest ever T20 score (79). So that concludes a Super Sunday for us. Well, Monday has just begun. We'll be back in a few hours with KKR v DD. Have a good night's sleep and come back fresh, we'll be there for you nice and early. Goodbye!
Gayle: It was good to be back. I got a text this morning that I would be playing. I am very happy that I have got off to a winning start for this new franchise. That's Chris Gayle for you - hitting just fours and sixes and not worrying about ones and twos. Rahul took pressure off me at times as well. I am feeling like 25, the Universe Boss is back (laughs).
Gayle is the Man of the Match
Ashwin: I felt there was a lot of dew, but overall the bowling went well. It was crucial to get Rayudu at that point of the game, it was a game-breaking moment. We are not going to be a team that goes back and thinks maybe we could have done this or that, we are going to be a team that thinks maybe we could have stuck to the basics. Today I thought we should unleash Gayle and he had the right sort of an attack to go out there and express himself.
MS Dhoni: Not much going through my mind. They bowled very well, Mujeeb made a difference. I don't think there was much dew on the ground. They played better than us. We can improve in few areas. Chris' innings in the first innings and Mujeeb's bowling made a difference. It was a close game. We will be a safe fielding team and not be an exceptional one. We have to be smart while bowling. We want to keep hitting boundaries here and there and that can make a difference. All the games we have been part of were close, so individuals would have learnt from that. (On not promoting Bravo) Fleming is in the dug out so he needs to take the decision. We have confidence in Jadeja because he being a left-hander is not easy for the bowlers. This is the time we need to give him the opportunity. If Jadeja can do the job of the floater that would be really good for the team as we have Raina at the top of the order. I will back him as we have not given him many opportunities. I don't know how bad my back is but it should be okay. God has given me enough power so I don't have to rely on my back a lot. It shouldn't be so bad. I am used to playing with the injuries. You have to be tough.
Andrew Tye: Very nervy. Mahi put on a show for the crowd. Outstanding effort from the Chennai lads. You have to figure out where you can give away a single or maybe a dot. I would have liked to give him (Mohit) 23. But Mohit did the job. The crowd was awesome and electrifying. We have one more game here and hope to play it in front of a packed crowd.
Watto and Vijay couldn't give the start. Billings' failure put more pressure on Rayudu and Dhoni - who had to milk the bowling for a while because of three early wickets. Rayudu batted very well and he was under the pump with Dhoni not able to strike the ball cleanly. KXIP got Rayudu just at the right time - before he could change to 5th gear. Dhoni then upped his game - fought a lower back injury and almost took CSK over the line.
Great to see Bravo and Gayle share a smile as they walk off. No emotions from Dhoni. Mohit congratulates Dhoni. Happy hugs for the KXIP team. Gee this got close. But to be honest, how did they let CSK come this far? Had the game in the bag almost, but one man believed and single-handedly threatened the opposition. 198 was never going to be easy, especially with Raina not being there for tonight's game.
