KKR 138/8 (20.0 Ovs)
SRH 139/5 (19.0 Ovs)
Sunrisers Hyderabad won by 5 wkts
Would be a big relief for the Sunrisers to finally end their losing streak in Kolkata. They've been on quite a roll so far, so this was probably their best chance, and they backed it up. The team is responding nicely with Williamson at the helm, let's see how far they go. So that's the end of our double-header today. There's another one tomorrow. Do join us for that. For now, this is Sagar Chawla signing off on behalf of Varun Dixit, Ramakrishnan, Pratyush Sinha, Nikhil Jadhav and our scorer Shashikant Singh. Goodnight!
Aslam Saah says: So, it's 9 out of 10! Team that has won the toss has won 90% matches so far! Except DD vs RR match.
Billy Stanlake, MoM: Nice to get out there and get a couple of wickets. My job is pretty simple, to go out there and get wickets. We thought it was going to come through nicely. It sat up a bit, sort of tennis-bouncy. Two great catches, owe Manish Pandey a couple of beers. Those were two great catches.
Williamson, SRH captain: Obviously nice to win three in a row. Best part was the improvement from the previous game. Highlight was the fielding. Bowlers have been outstanding. Nice that they've been able to do that consistently. The way they've responded in these three games has been brilliant. Suppose the guys are used to playing on very good surfaces. Wasn't a lot of turn for the spinners but they hit good lengths. KKR are a really strong team. It was nice to pull that back and chase the total down.
Dinesh Karthik, KKR captain: Basically, we wanted to send the batsmen according to the situation. When left arm spinner was bowling, we wanted Narine to go out there and express himself. I was thinking 160-170 would be a good score to defend but I don't think we batted as well as we could have. We play as we see, we try to see which bowlers are not at their best and try to go after them.
Shikhar Dhawan (Orange Cap): It feels good to get the orange cap. I did not expect that even after scoring 7 runs, I will get this. We have won third game on the trot, I am enjoying this winning streak. I started playing aggressive since the mid-way last IPL and I have continued playing it this way in this edition, whether David is there or not I play my game. If I am hitting the ball well, I go for my shots. Today Saha was more aggressive than me. The mantra which is working for me, I am trying to keep repeating it and making it refined not just in IPL but also also for the country. I am a firm believer in the process.

0:30 Local Time, 19:00 GMT, 00:30 IST: With the match wriggling towards another tense finish out of nowhere for SRH, Yusuf Pathan came out fired up against his former team and got them over the line with an over to spare. Again, the batting vulnerabilities of the Sunrisers came to the fore in a small chase. They made it seem a lot more arduous than it should have been, with the KKR spinners creating a wobble. But the target was too small, and the visitors too determined to register their first win here at the Eden Gardens. Captain Kane Williamson did a good job of steering the innings along after a brisk start from Saha, and then Pathan finished the job. It was the Sunrisers bowling attack though - the flagship of their franchise - which set things up again with another all-rounded display. Their bowlers have been instrumental so far in leading the team to their third straight win. Stay tuned for the presentations..
